Welcome to the Christian Church of God from Jerusalem_Global Council from Christ (CCGJGCC).

We are delighted to have you here and be a part of our community. Our Church comprises all our local churches, each with their dedicated deacons and evangelists who are committed to serving and supporting our members.

At the heart of our church is the internal Global Council from Christ (GCC) with its apostolic network. This council, led by a group of apostolic elders, oversees the international church-to-church ministry. It arose and was coordinated from Jerusalem by Christ and his 12 disciples. In Greek, the term for “overseer” is “episkopos,” (which is sometimes mistranslated as “bishops,” “bishop,” or “bishopric” as in Acts 1:20 KJV) and it arises to mean the same as the Hebrew word mulok (or mulkayim for more than one as a group).

The apostolic elders did this using monetary gifts. See for example 1 Corinthians 16:1-3, 2 Corinthians 8:13-15,   Acts 1:6-8, 15-26;  13:1-5;  15:1-36.

We have great happiness from our God and gifted Messianist roots, as our ministry originated in Jerusalem (before modern denominations), where Christ and his 12 disciples laid the foundation for our faith.

We are here to guide and support you on your spiritual journey, and we look forward to growing together in faith.

The Christian Church of God from Jerusalem, Global Council from Christ (CCGJGCC, https://ccgj-gcc.bitrix24.site/) is a continuation of men and women walking with God since the early days of mankind’s creation, even the days of Jesus Christ, as recorded in ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek Holy Scriptures called the Holy Bible. We are a continuation of the disciples and apostles of Jesus Christ by their words recorded in Holy Scripture (Holy Bible). Jesus Christ is the Son of God. See John 3:16-18, Matthew 16:13-19.

By the term “God” we mean the Creator of all things visible and invisible. This includes our Creator and Maintainer, often called the Father, residing in the heavens surrounding the earth and in the midst of earth and us on earth through His Holy Spirit.

We continue this successorship from Jesus and his first 12 apostolic elders (overseers) council (Acts chapter 1, Matthew 5:22). We do this with the help of the Holy Spirit, which is delivered to us through words from God. These words detail how to do this, as through Jesus’ teachings, which are recorded in God’s Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is the written authority giving us our affirmative direction from God by His Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ.

The words of Jesus Christ from God by His Holy Spirit direct us in how to be His Holy Temple favorably as a person, local community, and international body for His greatest blessings.

We who follow God according to Jesus His Messiah (One anointed) are initially and generally called His disciples.

We who follow God according to Jesus His Messiah more maturely are called His Messianist (from Hebrew lanquage) or Christians (as translated from Greek lanquage in the Bible), especially our Holy Temple servants the deacons, apostles, and overseers. Today, when distinguishing us from Catholic Christians, Protestant Christians, or the like, we are called Judeo-Christians.

We continue to manifest those holy assemblies of God’s disciples through Christ that began in and around Jerusalem after the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus.

We continue spreading the gospel (good news) of eternal salvation from God through His Holy Son Jesus Christ.

We continue to receive God’s empowerment to remain true to His Holy Scripture, worship, praise, wisdom, individually with collective powers and inheritance handed down to us for you from the disciples of God through Jesus Christ.

By your full commitment to God, there is no deeper and more comprehensive Spiritual understanding, awakening, awareness, moral compass, satisfaction, and empowerment on the planet.

Our Holy Scriptures defining our Church structure and organization predates all modern churches, including Eastern Orthodox Catholicism, Roman Catholicism, and Protestant denominations such as Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Pentecost, Baptist, Jehovah Witness, or new age houses of Yahwehs and any others.

The Holy Bible embodies “the oldest history writing still existing.” Cambridge Ancient History, Volume 1, page 13. Its content spans from the ancient times when people wrote in Hebrew pictographs (hieroglyphs), logographs, and cuinieform on moist clay tablets that dried into stone  (before 2500 B.C., Exodus 24:12), then later plant-pith papyri and animal skins [parchment] (2 Timothy 4:13), then modern tree-pith paper, and then electronic devices and worldwide internet.

This is why our Hebrew roots retain ancient monosyllabic translation of Biblical Hebrew to present, including God’s sacred name (our translation principles predate later foreign vowel points into modern Hebrew). That sacred name is YAH (Psalm 68:4), YAHWAH (used over 6000 times through Holy Scriptures), and Jesus’ Hebrew name YAHWASHAG (over 1170 times, as meant also by Iesous [“Jesus”, an epithet]). Holy Scripture, which represents the continual and consistent material affirmation of God’s eternal powers and authority, is the basis for our leadership for over two billion Christians and all other souls on the earth. While our foundations and origins are ancient, which we aim to maintain, we also aim to continue generating establishments for modern times and challenges that are loving, welcoming, flexible, resilient, and powerful.

The foundational cornerstone of our collective Holy Temple is first Jesus and the individual(s) most closely following Jesus Christ, especially anyone by God’s Holy Spirit that is defined by and thereby affirmed by His Holy Bible. The larger foundation of the collective Holy Temple is the local assembly most closely following Jesus Christ, especially by God’s Holy Spirit which is affirmed by His Holy Bible. The local assembly is where two or more disciples gather for prayer, fellowship, Bible study, judicial determinations, or sacred festive observances such as the Passover (also called the Last Supper or the Lord’s Supper). Luke 22:14-20.

The local assembly may grow more mature to develop deacons, evangelists, apostles, and overseers. Two or more overseers, and no more than 13, comprise a local assembly overseers council.

The earliest local central Christian Church that followed Jesus Christ most closely originally developed maturely in Jerusalem. The first 13 overseers council comprised Jesus and his 12 disciples who later became deacons, apostles, evangelists, and overseers.

That Church later began to acquire monetary gifts, sometimes called tithes, from other local churches springing up internationally from Jerusalem to support financially weaker churches globally by apostles such as Paul and Barnabas.

Our Global Council (of overseers) from Christ in our Christian Church of God from Jerusalem continues to strive to accomplish this great commission.

Historically, the Temple suffered persecution, its members tortured, imprisoned, and/or murdered, and its structure and organization became less apparent in some places, especially as it operated in hostile locations less detectable. Eventually, in many locations new local church structures and organizations with teachings by less developed disciples began to emerge all over the earth. Those novel churches today still need guidance to grow maturely in Spirit, they are like people, some more or less developed than others.

A record of successive overseers from Jesus and his first 12 apostolic elders council to present has not been maintained authentically by any church for many reasons, such as some being attacked, transitory, others subject to secular political or financial deviations like Judas the betrayer of Jesus, the flesh subject to unstable credibility, and any written apostolic lineage becoming divertingly controvercial as by subsequent false insertions or deletions by subsequent historians. The closest physical successor(s) to Jesus as his authentic overseers today arise from his words recorded in the Holy Bible.

Since the Holy Bible and CCGJGCC has not and does not maintain a physical apostolic lineage, Jesus and his 12 apostolic elders remain our present and most previous physical authority for Spiritual and Church matters. We recieve consultation from them by their recorded words in the Holy Bible. This makes us more closely arising from and consistent with the roots, origins, source, and authority from God than any other church on earth by any other traditions developed to the contrary.

In this same way God can enable you to be a successor to any one of our (His) disciples, deacons, evangelists, apostles, or overseers from Jesus, or Jesus himself, for example. One most aligned to God by and with Holy Scripture is equal authority when harmonious to and thereby transparent for others to see God’s will, words, and example through them as Christ.

“One who received you received me, and one who received me received Him who sent me.” Matthew 10:40.

God has done something miraculous in these last days! He blessed the hearts and minds of former criminals in prisons after they repented, were baptized, and received His Holy Spirit. God gifted them with deep insight into His Divine matters as the Holy Bible affirms!

Those Divine matters include insight about affirming to others God’s Sacred Name that Christ was named after (at this link scroll down to the section entitled FACTS), our proper relationship to God our Father in Heaven and His Son, and even the ancient structure and organization God intended for our Holy Temple from His Holy Spirit which is affirmable by the Holy Bible.

The Holy Bible was also produced by God’s Holy Spirit over thousands of years past to present. And some of the holy souls God blessed to produce some portions of the Holy Scripture, like apostle Paul, were also once prisoners! CCGJGCC was considered illegal by some authorities. This website arises from a CCGJGCC registered in the United States as a nonprofit organization on May 18, 2017. It arose with help of ministers from Jerusalem, members from South Carolina, and members from Georgia State prisons such as William J. LeMatty, Antonio Peeler, Joel McGee, Anthony Brooks, and others who erected CCGJGCC assemblies in prisons by prayer groups, Bible research and study groups, fellowships, judicial determinations, and holy observances such as Passover.

“…and the lowly things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should self-glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—that, as it is written, he who glories, let him glory in the LORD (YAHWAH).” 1 Corinthians 1:28-31.
